1. New Enrolments

1.1. Textbooks and other learning resources will only be issued when payments are made in full.

1.2. Students are always expected to be on their best behaviour.

1.2.1. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the enrolment of a student for any disrespectful behaviour and/or behaviour that disrupts the learning of other students.

1.2.2. For any and all negative behaviour, we will not offer credits or refunds for missed lessons.

1.3. Student will forfeit their enrolment If any and all fees are not paid following the Fees Policy

1.4. Inaccurate or incomplete information being provided intentionally may result in the non-acceptance or delay of an enrolment.

1.6. If the chosen course/class enrolled is full, you will be placed in a wait list and will be notified when placement is available.

1.7. All students and parents/guardian jointly indemnify Catalyst Chemistry against any and all Claims whatsoever, whether legal, equitable, under statue or otherwise, and all other liabilities of any nature arising out of any breach of confidentiality by us or our students.

2. Fees Policy

2.1. Term fees for the following term are due in full by the start of the term or following an agreed payment plan.

2.2. All fees shall include Goods and Services Tax (GST) effective from 1 July 2024 onwards.

2.3. Textbooks and other learning resources shall be issued only upon full payment of the term fees or upon receipt of the initial payment under an approved payment plan.

2.6. Enrolment is not guaranteed unless term fee is paid in full or upon receipt of each payment under an approved payment plan before lesson commencement.

2.7. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the enrolment of a student whose fees are in arrears.

2.8. We reserve the right to change the value of all and any discounts at any time.

2.9. We reserve the right to change the cost of Fees charged at any time.

3. Attendance

3.1. Students are expected to attend all the lessons in which they are enrolled.

3.2. If any student is unable to attend their scheduled lesson, we need to be notified by our makeup form or by SMS text or email in advance to arrange for possible makeup lesson.

3.3. Students are required to attend a makeup lesson or online Study Support.

3.4. Credits or refunds will not be provided for any missed lessons. In cases where students are unable to attend their allocated class, best efforts will be made to reallocate them to an alternative class during the same week and provide a recording of the lesson.

3.5. If a lesson is postponed or changes made due to an event (e.g., teacher’s illness) the postponed lesson will be rescheduled to a later date, or a substitute teacher may take the lesson. A lesson recording will be made available at the end of the week.

3.6. If your given resources are misplaced, you may request for a replacement.

3.7. Students are always expected to be on their best behaviour.

3.7.1. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the enrolment of a student for any disrespectful behaviour and/or behaviour that disrupts the learning of other students.

3.7.2. For any and all negative behaviour, we will not offer credits or refunds for missed lessons.

4. Homework

4.1. Students' weekly homework will be collected, marked, and returned to them in the following week.

4.2. Weekly homework submission is not compulsory, but strongly encouraged.

4.3. Students who consistently failing to submit homework will receive warnings and notification to submit homework.

4.4. Catalyst Chemistry reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrolment if their commitment to the program is found lacking.

5. Privacy

5.1. Catalyst Chemistry requests that its students provide school exam results, HSC results, photographs and ATAR by SMS text or email.

5.2. Catalyst Chemistry reserves the right to advertise names, results and photographs for promotional purposes.

5.3. Each student attending the Catalyst Chemistry is required to submit personal details which are kept confidential.

5.4. Any changes to this information must be updated as soon as possible.

5.5. Inaccurate or incomplete information being provided intentionally may result in the non-acceptance of an enrolment or cancellation of an existing enrolment.

5.6 Catalyst Chemistry classes may be recorded for the protection of students and its employees and contractors.

5.6.1. Catalyst Chemistry acknowledges that class recordings, which may include student audio and names, may be made available to Catalyst Chemistry students. While Catalyst Chemistry will make every reasonable effort to ensure that student video is removed prior to distribution, we understand the concerns regarding privacy and confidentiality. Therefore, Catalyst Chemistry shares indemnity with parents and students, ensuring that any inadvertent release of student video content will not result in liability for the affected parties."

5.6.2. Catalyst Chemistry respects the preferences of parents and students regarding the recording of classes. Should a parent or student wish for their class recordings not to be made, they must inform Catalyst Chemistry via SMS text or email. Catalyst Chemistry will promptly adhere to such requests to ensure the privacy and comfort of all parties involved.

5.7. We will not disclose a student's information unless the disclosure is:

5.7.2. Authorised by the law.

6. Liability

6.1. All students and parents/guardian jointly indemnify Catalyst Chemistry against any and all Claims whatsoever, whether legal, equitable, under statue or otherwise, and all other liabilities of any nature arising out

of any breach of confidentiality by us or our students.

7. Refunds

7.1. We are confident in the quality of our program. A refund of remaining term’s classes is available at any point during the term

7.1.1. The refund will be calculated at a pro-rata rate of the remaining teaching hours excluding examinations.

7.2. We will not offer credits or refunds for missed lessons.
